Getting Ready to Launch a New Site

My husband and I are in the planning stages of launching a new site. It’s been something we’ve wanted to do for a while and now finally have some time.

Last week, a client dropped me. Initially it was a bad thing but I quickly took it as a good thing. I started applying for a few better paying jobs—not heard back from any yet—and then looked at the residual income and non-upfront paying stuff.

One of the sites we’ve wanted to build is around gifts, toys and decorations. Really, we want to get into affiliate marketing and finally make it work. We already have a domain name that we took two years ago and haven’t done anything with. We wanted the domain name because it was connected to a business idea that we had and didn’t have any time for in the end. So now, it’s time to put that domain name to use.

I’m not sure when the site will actually be live, but we want to make it happen sooner rather than later. I have the quietest day in a long time today, so we’re going to sit down and put some post ideas together. It’s time for research into some Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas stuff. We can move on from there.

The great news for this week is that a couple of residual income sites have picked up financially. Last week was my best week for views in a few months with one site—mainly because the TV shows are coming back and I’ve found a lot of people looking for when shows are returning to Netflix. I’ve taken advantage of that and look to have a good week this week too. Hopefully that keeps going so I can really focus on this new site.
